HAIR CARE: KNOW YOUR HAIR TYPE
Normal Hair
This is shiny and easy to manage. Wash once a week with a mild natural based shampoo.
Herbs: burdock, catnip, fennel, horsetail, nettle lavender, rosemary.
Essential oil: carrot, eucalyptus, evening primrose, eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, lemon, rosemary.
Dry Hair
This is difficult to control after shampooing, looks dull and has ends that are dry and split. It is best to use a creamy natural shampoo and wash once a week.
Herbs: burdock root, comfrey, chamomile, elder flower, lime flowers, marshmallow, horsetail, stinging nettle, parsley, sage Essential oils: carrot, calendula, chamomile, clary sage, geranium, lavender, rosemary, sandalwood.
Oily Hair
This hair type looks good for a day or two after shampooing, but then becomes lank and clings together in unattractive strands. Wash frequently about three times a week with a lemon based natural shampoo.
Herbs: elder flower, horsetail, lavender, lemon balm, marigold, peppermint, rosemary, southern wood, sting nettle, witch hazel, yarrow
Essential oils: basil, cypress, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, peppermint, rosemary, thyme.
